TAMPA, Fla. – Ahead of its 23rd season, the Premier Development League will host operational webinars for its 72 franchises, providing clubs with meaningful information to assist them in running a successful campaign.
Four sessions will take place over the next four days, with the Eastern Conference webinar on Monday, the Southern Conference forum on Tuesday, the Central Conference session on Wednesday and the Western Conference meeting on Thursday. All webinars will begin at 4 p.m. ET.
"The PDL is always looking for ways to provide its franchises with high-quality services, as we want each club to achieve its local and national business goals," PDL Director Todd Eason said. "Hosting these seminars provides an opportunity for each franchise in our league to have their questions and concerns addressed ahead of the season."
The webinars will cover a variety of topics, including game-day operations, marketing, communications and registration. Eason and PDL Assistant Director Mike Panter will lead the four meetings.
The PDL is preparing for another significant campaign, building off the success of a strong 2016 season. A total of 72 teams, including 16 new clubs, are set to participate this year. Twenty-one clubs will take part in the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, including the Michigan Bucks, reigning PDL champions.
The 2017 PDL regular season begins on May 5, with 10 divisions – Great Lakes, Heartland, Northeast, Mid Atlantic, South Atlantic, Mid South, Southeast, Northwest, Southwest and Mountain – making up the structure of the league.
