Wednesday's match was closer than North Carolina would have liked, but two PDL players helped power the Tarheels through to victory.

In the team's 3-2 win over William & Mary, Tobacco Road FC's Alan Winn and Wilmington Hammerheads FC midfielder Cameron Lindley came up huge. Winn knocked in the opener for North Carolina and ended up finishing the game-winner as well, the latter of which was assisted by Lindley.

Chicago FC United forward Ryan Sierakowski showed up for Michigan State as well, scoring the lone goal of the match to lead the Spartans to a win over Bowling Green. Elsewhere, his PDL teammate Thomas Barlow knocked in a goal and an assist in Wisconsin's 3-1 win vs. Northwestern in Big Ten play.

In DII action, Gabriel Torres came to play for the University of D.C., as the forward from The Villages SC provided an assist in his team's 3-1 win vs. Barton.
