NCAA DI, DII, and NAIA: Tuesday PDL Players Recap

On an incredible heavy day of NCAA and NAIA college soccer, several PDL players found ways to stand out from the crowd.

Both Sounders FC U23 defender Conner Antley and forward William Bagrou found ways to be productive for Mercer in a 3-1 win against Wofford. Bagrou bagged himself a goal in the winning effort, while Antley found himself with two helpers by the end of the match.

Also of note were two goalkeepers, as New York Red Bull U23 keeper Benjamin Lundgaard held a clean sheet in Virginia Tech's 2-0 win over Longwood, and Carolina Dynamo shot-stopper Alec Smir left the slate clean as well in North Carolina's 4-0 win against Winthrop.

Elsewhere, in NCAA DII action, Mississippi Brilla FC forward Andre De Giorgi continued his strong season with another assist in Adelphi's 4-1 win against Bentley. Also featuring for the full 90 minutes in their match were Jersey Express midfielder Harry Pearse and FA Euro midfielder Charlie Ledula as LIU Post cruised to a 1-0 win over Wilmington.

In NAIA action, Charlotte Eagles midfielder Mutaya Mwape shined again, playing the full 90 minutes and providing a goal and an assist on Lindsey Wilson's two scoring efforts in a 2-0 win against Shawnee State.

Sean Caulfield did not play in Indiana's 1-0 win vs. Notre Dame.

Jeff Farina started and played 90 minutes in Notre Dame's 1-0 loss vs. Indiana.

Andrew Samuels started and played 110 minutes in Maryland's 1-1 draw vs. UMBC.

Brad Dunwell started and played 90 minutes in Wake Forest's 2-1 win vs. South Carolina.

Emmanuel Twumasi started, played 48 minutes and provided ONE GOAL in Wake Forest's 2-1 win vs. South Carolina.

Jon Bakero started, played 63 minutes and provided ONE GOAL and ONE ASSIST in Wake Forest's 2-1 win vs. South Carolina.

James Pyle did not play in North Carolina's 4-0 win vs. Winthrop.

Alec Smir started, played 90 minutes and recorded a CLEAN SHEET in North Carolina's 4-0 win vs. Winthrop.

Cam Lindley started and played 60 minutes in North Carolina's 4-0 win vs. Winthrop.

Alexander Rose did not play in North Carolina's 4-0 win vs. Winthrop.

Alan Winn started and played 39 minutes in North Carolina's 4-0 win vs. Winthrop.

Tate Schmitt started, played 100 minutes and provided ONE GOAL in Louisville's 1-1 draw vs. South Florida.
