NCAA DI and DII: Tuesday PDL Players Recap

It was another high-scoring day for PDL players with their collegiate teams, as 12 found themselves with a goal or assist.

Leading the way was Creighton's 6-1 win against Drake, in which four of the five PDL Players to Watch involved etched themselves on to the score sheet. Des Moines Menace defender Lucas Stauffer notched a goal and two assists in just 57 minutes of play and Lane United FC midfielder Joel Rydstrand followed closely behind with a goal and assist in 45 minutes of play. Tampa Bay Rowdies U23 forward Ricky Lopez-Espin provided a goal, and Rowdies U23 midfielder Noah Franke added an assist, while OKC Energy U23 forward Sven Koenig also put in 46 minutes of work.

Elsewhere SIMA Aguilas forward Santiago Patino tallied an assist on a goal from Reading United AC defender Paul Marie in Florida International's win. Carolina Dynamo forward Jon Bakero recorded two goals and an assist in Wake Forest's 8-0 demolition of Longwood. AC Connecticut forward Edward Opoku provided a goal and assist in Virginia's win, while Chicago FC United forward Jeff Farina did the same for Notre Dame.

Finally, The Villages SC midfielder Gabriel Torres got on the board once again, as his goal helped lead the University of D.C. to victory in NCAA DII action.

Brad Dunwell started and played 49 minutes in Wake Forest's 8-0 win vs. Longwood.

Emmanuel Twumasi started and played 43 minutes in Wake Forest's 8-0 win vs. Longwood.

Jon Bakero started, played 38 minutes and provided TWO GOALS and ONE ASSIST in Wake Forest's 8-0 win vs. Longwood.

Jefferson Caldwell started and played 90 minutes in Virginia's 4-2 win vs. Lehigh.

Sergi Nus started, played 90 minutes and provided ONE GOAL in Virginia's 4-2 win vs. Lehigh.

Kennedy Nwabia subbed-in and played 15 minutes in Virginia's 4-2 win vs. Lehigh.

Edward Opoku started, played 90 minutes and provided ONE GOAL and ONE ASSIST in Virginia's 4-2 win vs. Lehigh.

Tate Schmitt started, played 51 minutes and provided ONE GOAL in Louisville's 5-0 win vs. Florida Atlantic.

Jeff Farina started, played 90 minutes and provided ONE GOAL and ONE ASSIST in Notre Dame's 3-1 win vs. Michigan.

Francis Atuahene started and played 71 minutes in Michigan's 3-1 loss vs. Notre Dame.

Joseph Korb started and played 78 minutes in Akron's 2-0 win vs. Cleveland State.

Tanner Dieterich subbed-in and played 35 minutes in Clemson's 5-0 win vs. Gardner-Webb.

Malick Sarr Mbaye started and played 75 minutes in Clemson's 5-0 win vs. Gardner-Webb.

Eric Dick started and played 90 minutes in Butler's 2-0 loss vs. SIUE.

Dennis Zapata started and played 92 minutes in Florida Gulf Coast's 4-3 loss vs. Florida International.

Albert Ruiz subbed-in and played 47 minutes in Florida Gulf Coast's 4-3 loss vs. Florida International. 

Paul Marie started, played 74 minutes and provided ONE GOAL in Florida International's 4-3 win vs. Florida Gulf Coast.

Santiago Patino started, played 74 minutes and provided ONE ASSIST in Florida International's 4-3 win vs. Florida Gulf Coast.

Lucas Stauffer started, played 57 minutes and provided ONE GOAL and TWO ASSISTS in Creighton's 6-1 vs. Drake.

Noah Franke started, played 27 minutes and provided ONE ASSIST in Creighton's 6-1 win vs. Drake.

Joel Rydstrand started, played 45 minutes and provided ONE GOAL and ONE ASSIST in Creighton's 6-1 win vs. Drake.

NCAA DII

Gabriel Torres started, played 66 minutes and provided ONE GOAL in University of D.C.'s 2-0 win over Seton Hill.
