Wednesday proved productive once again for PDL Players to Watch in the collegiate soccer scene, particularly in NCAA DII.

Leading the way was Reading United AC forward Marco Micaletto. Though Young Harris wound up on the wrong end of a 4-3 contest with Clayton State, Micaletto had a night to remember, scoring two goals in his team's effort over 96 minutes of play. The Villages SC midfielder Gabriel Torres also shined in a win for the University of D.C., scoring twice and assisting another in the team's 4-2 win over Roberts Wesleyan. Jersey Express midfielder Harry Pearse also got on the board, scoring once in LIU Post's 3-0 win against Mercy.

Five NCAA DI players also made an impact for their collegiate teams, including two show-stealing goalkeepers. Oklahoma City Energy U23's Eric Dick and Seacoast United PhantomsThor Arne Hoefs both recorded clean sheets in Butler and George Washington's matches respectively, with Butler claiming a scoreless draw against highly-ranked Indiana. Two players got involved in the scoring end of things, as SIMA Aguilas midfielder Rafael Santos notched one in VCU's 4-0 win over George Mason, while FC Tucson defender Aaron Herrera recorded his in a 1-1 draw for New Mexico against UCLA.

Finally, Ocean City Nor'easters forward Ignacio Tellechea also contributed, notching an assist in UC Santa Barbara's 2-1 win over Sacramento State.
