Though limited in action, the PDL Players to Watch on the field Thursday had phenomenal performances.

In NCAA DI, Stanford trounced UCLA as expected, 5-1, in Pac-12 play. Following closely behind was Burlingame Dragons midfielder Corey Baird with a goal and assist of his own, and Dragons forward Tomas Hilliard who contributed an assist as well.

Elsewhere in NCAA DI, Cal narrowly edged out a 1-0 win over San Diego State in the other Pac-12 match of the night. It was Dragons defender Joshua Morton who provided the assist on the lone goal, with FC Golden State Force forward Jose Carrera-Garcia also going the full 90 minutes.

In NCAA DII, Cal Baptist kept their strong season rolling by earning a 1-0 win over Dominican University. Fresno Fuego midfielder Joey Chica made his presence felt, with an assist on the lone goal in 73 minutes of action.
