Several PDL Players to Watch kept their conference tournament hopes alive, while several others bowed out on Wednesday.

In the ACC, there were winners and losers on both sides of the field. Carolina Dynamo forward Jon Bakero was the big winner, as the ACC Offensive Player of the Year packed his usual punch, scoring once and assisting another goal in a 2-1 win for Wake Forest over Nashville SC U23 defender Tanner Dieterich and Clemson. Elsewhere, AC Connecticut forward Edward Opoku contributed to Virginia's 2-1 win with an assist against Chicago FC United forward Jeff Farina and Notre Dame. The two victors will clash in the ACC Championship match this weekend.

Elsewhere, New York Red Bull U23 midfielder Christopher Lema and forward Zachary Knudson picked up an assist each in Georgetown's 2-1 win over St. John's to progress to the Big East Championship against Xavier. Finally, FC Tucson forward Daniel Musovski scored one of two goals for UNLV as they beat Grand Canyon in the WAC Tournament first round.
