On a relatively quiet Wednesday afternoon and evening, one PDL Player to Watch stood heads and shoulders above his fellows.

Mississippi Brilla FC forward Andre De Giorgi made his presence felt Wednesday night in Adelphi's 5-2 win over Molloy. De Giorgi knocked in four of his team's five tallies on the night, leading them to victory from the front.

Although De Giorgi was the only PDL player to find the score sheet on Wednesday, it wasn't for lack of trying by others. Long Island Rough Riders midfielder Justin Carfora went the distance in Holy Cross' scoreless double-overtime draw against Siena College, but couldn't provide the difference, while Myrtle Beach Mutiny forward Jon Ander Ibarrondo went 66 minutes for Wingate, rattling off several shots, but was unable to pull his team back from their eventual 1-0 loss.

Finally, Marco Micaletto also went the distance, playing the full 110 minutes in Young Harris' 1-1 draw. The Reading United AC forward also got a few shots off, but was unable to break the deadlock.
