Zest FC's Seong Yeon Wins PDL Goal of the Week in Week 3

Long-range strike wins fan vote to earn honors

A long-range curler from San Diego Zest FC's Lee Seong Yeon has been voted as the fan-chosen PDL Goal of the Week in Week 3.

The unbelievable shot from distance earned 51 percent of the 611 votes cast. Following behind was Giu Leme's volley for Ogden City SC at 24 percent, German Mendoza's long-range free kick for Tobacco Road FC with 10 percent and Gio Magana-Rivera's game-winner for the Portland Timbers U23 at six percent. Tucker Stephenson's goal for Kaw Valley FC garnered five percent, Jesus Perez's strike for Chicago FC United earned four percent and Lane United FC's Sam Engle earned less than one percent of the vote.
